Snapper Promotes LT200 Series Lawn Tractors at Expo 2006
McDonough, Ga., (October 6, 2006) — The Snapper LT200 Series makes it easy for homeowners to have a great looking lawn. Every feature and innovation is designed to make yard work simple. With four models from which to choose, homeowners can count on the LT200 Series for reliable performance and ease of use.
Reliable Performance
Briggs & Stratton Intek™ engines designed-to-specification power the LT200 Series. Choose from an18.5-hp single-cylinder OHV up to a 22-hp twin-cylinder OHV. The engines run quietly thanks to a large 5"muffler and they are easy to start.
Each of the four mower decks—38", 42", 44" and 50"—is easy to remove and features a deep-profile design which creates a powerful airflow to lift grass blades for an even cut and dispersal of clippings. There are seven height-of-cut options, as well as a mulch kit or bagging system.
A cast iron, pivoting front axle provides stability and control even on hills and uneven terrain. Large 20" or 22" drive tires are easy on the turf.
Easy To Operate
The LT 200 makes cutting around sharp corners and trimming close to landscaping quick and easy. LT's 12-inch turning radius, the best in its class, is ideal for lawns with tight spaces, trees, fences and other obstacles.
Simple foot pedal operation allows quick speed and direction changes. Cruise control, for those long straight-aways, is standard.
All controls are easy to read, color coded and positioned at the operator's fingertips, including comfort-grip steering wheel, throttle and choke control, cruise control, electric mower engagement (PTO), parking brake, keyed ignition and electric start, reverse mowing switch, runtime indicator (most models), and headlights.
Retail prices for the LT200 Series start at $1,949.99. Sale prices vary by dealer.
