How do I change the mower blades on my Snapper?

To service or change your mower blade, take the mower to your local Snapper Dealer. A well maintained and sharp lawn mower blade is imperative to cut the grass properly and for operational lawn mower safety.

When to Change Lawn Mower Blades

Frequently check the lawn mower blade (C) for wear or damage such as cracks. Frequently check the bolt[CM1]  (A) that holds the blade, and keep the bolt tight. If while mowing the lawn the blade hits an object, stop the engine, and disconnect the wire to the spark plug. Check the mower blade adapter (D), as well as mower blade itself for damage or wear. Before operating the unit again, all damages must be replaced with factory replacement mower blades and parts.

Since lawn mower safety is very important, schedule a mower blade replacement every two years to keep the blades sharp. A dull mower blade will cause the ends of the grass to become brown.
