Press the battery firmly into the tool. You should hear the battery click into place. This will confirm that the battery is fully connected to the tool.

Q. What is proper storage in hot/freezing temperature? Is there anywhere it is unsafe to store the battery?

The battery should be stored indoors in order to achieve the longest battery life. Never store the battery near a furnace or exposed flame.

Q. Are there any maintenance or care tips to keep in mind?

If the battery will not be used for longer than 3 months, fully charge the battery at room temperature and remove the battery from the charger. Store the battery indoors. After three months, check the charge of the battery and charge if necessary.
