MILWAUKEE, Wisconsin (October 18, 2017) – Briggs & Stratton Corporation is showcasing the new Snapper SPX™ Lawn Tractor lineup during GIE+EXPO in Louisville, Kentucky, Oct. 18th to the 20th. The SPX Lawn Tractor series includes two, 23-gross horsepower1/724cc mowers, available with either a 42-inch or 46-inch mower deck, and two, 25-gross horsepower1/724cc mowers, available with a 42-inch or 48-inch fabricated mower deck.
“All four of the SPX Lawn Tractors have a rugged Tuff-Torq® K46 hydrostatic transmission,” said Ryan Fredrickson, Product Manager of Residential Riding Mowers. “When you pair it with one of our powerful Briggs & Stratton® engines, homeowners will appreciate the performance that is delivered with every mow.”
Consumers can select a Briggs & Stratton Intek™ Series V-Twin or a Briggs & Stratton Professional Series™ V-Twin engine to deliver rugged power. SPX mowers are ergonomically designed to include a new contoured seat2 and new LED headlights on a redesigned, sleek modern hood. An integrated hour meter2 allows homeowners to track the number of hours of use to help ensure important maintenance doesn’t go overlooked, and a new steel front bumper2 provides extra durability to the front end of the tractor.
Snapper SPX Lawn Tractors are backed by a three-year limited warranty3. Fabricated mower decks offer a limited lifetime warranty. The new SPX mowers will be available in early 2018 and have a starting price of $1,899.
